Hey, y’all! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I’ve been living in Madrid, Spain for about a month now and have had time to visit so many amazing places around the center of the city. While there is still so much more that I want to see, I thought I would share some of my favorite spots I’ve seen so far.
Parque de El Retiro

Retiro Park is one of my absolute favorite places to visit in Madrid. It’s home to many beautiful statues and also a great place to attend a yoga class. While it is quite popular with tourists, it’s often not too crowded during the week.
Palacio de Cristal

Palacio de Cristal is so beautiful! It’s completely clear so you can basically see from one side all the way to the other. They often hold art shows inside of the small palace where you can see amazing art and the inside of the place.
Puerta de Alcala

Puerta de Alcala is also pretty close to Retiro Park. While I don’t believe it’s possible to get to the actual structure since it’s in the middle of a roundabout, you can still get a really great view of it from an entrance to Retiro Park.
Palacio Real

While I haven’t had the chance to go inside the Palace Real yet, even just being on the grounds is fantastic! It is beautiful from any angle you see it from and most definitely worth a visit.
Templo de Debod

Perhaps the best time to visit Templo de Debod is at sunset. The temple itself is incredible to see, but there is also a view of, what feels like, all of Madrid towards the back of the property. The Temple is set high up on a hill so you have a great view of the city and even the royal palace.
Primark

This one is a bit different than the others, but it’s one that I think is still worth the visit. Primark! This Primark is HUGE and has this open middle that is often decorated for the holidays. It’s always crowded no matter what time or day, but that’s part of the fun, in my opinion.
While there is so much more I could write about and that much more I still want to visit, these are just a few places that I’ve enjoyed visiting so far. I’m excited to continue to write about my experience in living in Madrid so stay tuned for more posts!
